Subsidised Open Water diver course
For Military & Emergency Services members, Veterans and their families.
Four day program consisting of: A half day of theory, followed by pool training.
International Certification
- At the end of your training you will receive an internationally recognised Open Water Diver qualification with Scuba Diving International (SDI).
- At the completion of the course all participants will be receive a membership to the local Veterans Dive Club. The Club conducts regular social dives, events and dive trips away.
Course Program
- Mon 14 Dec – Dive Theory.
- Tue 15 Dec – Swim test & Pool training.
- Wed 16 Dec – Ocean training (location TBC).
- Thu 17 Dec – Ocean training (location TBC).
- Dive equipment supplied.
- Bring your own mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit.
- Cost $450. Deposit $200 (refundable prior to pool training).
- SDI Open Water Diver Certification on successful completion of the course.
- Numbers limited.
