Wanderers Dive Club Info and Events

Wyvern Resilience provides resilience education and dive training to the Wanderers Dive Club. Serving ADF members, veterans and dependants can experience the freedom and confidence of exploring the underwater realm.

VETERANS WEEK – BUSSELTON DIVE WEEKEND – 04 – 06 October 2024

Thanks to the generosity of Legacy WA we have been given 55 beds at the Legacy Holiday camp over the long weekend of 4 – 6 Oct. DVA have also provided some funding to help cover the costs of a Veterans Week activity.

Taking advantage of this, Buddy Up Australia and the Wanderers Dive Club are conducting a social dive weekend, giving you all an opportunity to see the amazing dives sites around Busselton. This activity is tailored to include families, do not think you have to leave the family at home, share your love for diving with them. We will be running numerous activities over the weekend including;

Open Water Diver course

Computer Nitrox course

Deep Dive course

Dive Refresher courses – for those who haven’t dived for a while.

Social Dives – on the many dive site around Busselton including the Jetty.

Yoga sessions on Saturday and Sunday morning

Dive video competition with prizes

Communal meals

Activities for families

Physical, mental and social wellbeing discussions, and

Lots of hanging out and social time…….. 

If you don’t have your own dive gear yet, I am talking to the local dive stores about a long weekend discount for gear, and I will also approach the Busselton dive stores about discounted air fills.

SUBSIDISED BASIC AND ADVANCED DIVE COURSES

If you are not qualified and are looking for a purposeful activity to fill your spare time. Wyvern Resilience supports the club in providing subsidised dive courses from Open Water Scuba Diver through to Assistant Dive Instructor.
Diving is a great activity to share with friends and family.
Initial training is provided in a pool or confined water area, progress at your own speed with physical and mental resilience tools provided by experienced former military trainers.
